My friend made a long bike tour around Europe last year during his sabbatical. In his Seasons greetings he described his feelings in a poetic way:
“When I ride a motorcycle, like when humans first got on the horse, I find my capabilities are amplified. I can travel at tremendous speeds, dance with the music in my ears, feel gravity best as I corner. On it I have superpowers. It is delightful …”

I am not a biker, but many of my friends are. I have noticed that there is something special, semi-rebellious, cult-like, free-and-happy-again behavior, in a positive meaning. I am bit jealous.
